Share on FacebookSo I decided to draw just a decorative paisley texture, very elaborate and with many details.
And while I was making my sketch, I thought: “Are there people obsessed with Paisley? How looks like a man obsessed with Paisley fabrics? A man who dresses in pink paisley pants, has brown paisley wallpaper wall, paisley pillows on the bed, and which his maid is dressed in a purple paisley apron. And that’s how I turned my purely decorative paisley fabrics drawing into a purely drawing about people obsessed with paisley. I worked to it for several hours, and every time I became inpatient, I went to play with Bruno or eat some cherries, then came back at my drawing. When working on the paisley bedding, even had to make a big break and start another drawing to get free of that nagging details. more
At the pool, people do what they love most. Some are watching the ripples spread across the water, and others just jump. more

Like many other girls, when I was little I wanted to make beautiful doll dresses. While all my friends made some sophisticated and fashionable clothes for their dolls, all I could do was a piece of material with a hole in the middle.
