Every time I start making Baumkuchen I notice again that I am not patient enough. Thankfully, my boyfriend is the opposite and usually finishes baking … BUT: my grandma’s recipe is really really worth it spending hours in front of the oven! Baumkuchen bought in a store can never ever be as good.
